Years ago, when we were first saved, I remember listening to Jack Van Impe and being scared out of my mind by the prophecies he brought forth. I just finished watching him tonight, and now I find my reaction quite different. His words no longer frighten me, his words confirm what we've been seeing here.
We are in the last of the last days..and Israel will never fall because Jesus will come back to Jerusalem, the Mt. Of Olives, and put everything back in place. Israel will never fall. It's the only constant we have. It's the only thing we can be 100% sure of. God's plan is in effect. God's plan will never change. Keep your eyes here, keep your prayers here.. It's a crazy time. Rockets flying everywhere. Media condemning Israel. Another Palestinian bid to the UN for their own state. Muslim brotherhood taking over governments all around us. Iran so close to nuclear power. Hurricane in the NE. Nor' Easter in the NE. Obama re-elected. US states wanting to secede. No electric. No gas. No homes. No peace. Be Still and know that I AM GOD... This is how God works- I became reconnected, through facebook, with a lady by the name of Linda. She is the aunt of an old flame of mine. We hadn't seen each other in around 40 years.
She saw that we were in Israel and asked us what we were doing there. I told her and through that conversation and a few others, she told us that her church wanted to support us monthly. They never met us, but the pastor, Pastor Phillip, has always had a heart for Israel and the Jewish people. We were so welcomed. The people were truly concerned for us and we know that we have gained some new prayer partners. See, sometimes you meet people for an expressed purpose...God's plans never cease to amaze me. A Jewish businessman in Chicago decided to send his son to Israel to absorb some of the culture of the homeland. When the son returned, the father asked him to tell him about his trip. The son said, "Pop, I had a great time in Israel. By the way, I converted to Christianity." "Oy, vey," said the father, "Vot haf I dun?" He decided to go ask his friend Jacob what to do. Jake said, "Funny you should ask. I too sent my son to Israel, and he also came back a Christian. Perhaps we should go see the rabbi and ask him what we should do." So they went to see the rabbi. The rabbi said,"Funny you should ask. I too sent my son to Israel. He also came back a Christian. What is happening to our young people? Perhaps we should go talk to God and ask him what to do." The three of them prayed and explained what had happened to their sons and asked God what to do. Suddenly a voice came loud and clear from Heaven. "Funny you should ask. I, too, sent my Son to Israel" ... |
