We are about one week away from heading back to Israel. Our feelings are mixed. We miss friends there, we miss the ministry, but we are faced with having to say goodbye to our kids again. It's a difficult week.
But one thing we do look forward to is Columbus Day weekend. For the past 2 years, we've had the honor of speaking at Life Chapel on this weekend.
When we arrive we are covered in love. Hugs and kisses abound. We are overwhelmed by the unabashed love of The Lord. This year Pastor Ray and his wife, Patti, started the festivities by taking us to a brick oven pizza place...need we say more?? The food was soooo good and being there with them, even better.
We spoke at both services on Sunday morning. Life Chapel was kicking off their missions Covention, which lasts for a few weeks. We were honored to be the first speakers. After each service, the congregation laid hands on us and sent us out for another year. Hugs, kisses, tears.
After this we were invited to share a feast made in our honor at the beautiful home of a very loving and gracious couple from the church. It was a feast fit for a king.
Life Chapel thanked us for our service to The Lord. They showed us His love. We were smothered :)
What a fantastic weekend. Thank you Life Chapel, thank you, Lord.
